Canopy Solutions Mediation & Dispute Resolution

Mediation services provided by Erica Rosen‑McGinnis, LLC and David Rosen‑McGinnis, LLC.

Our Mediation Process

We use a structured, voluntary process designed to help participants understand each other’s perspectives and build workable agreements.

1. Initial Inquiry

You contact us to describe your situation and ask questions about mediation. We discuss whether mediation is appropriate and what participation would involve.

2. Preparation and Agreement to Mediate

If all parties agree to proceed, we review a written agreement to mediate that explains confidentiality, roles, and expectations. Participants can ask questions before signing.

3. Mediation Sessions

We meet with participants in joint sessions and, when appropriate, individual meetings. The focus is on clarifying issues, identifying interests, and exploring options.

4. Drafting Understandings and Agreements

When participants reach understandings, we help them capture those in clear language. Depending on the context, parties may choose to review agreements with legal or professional advisors.

5. Follow‑Up

In some engagements, we schedule follow‑up sessions to review how agreements are working and make adjustments if needed.

Voluntary Participation

Mediation is voluntary. Participants may choose to pause or end mediation at any time. We encourage open communication about needs, concerns, and boundaries throughout the process.
